So It Really Begins... Accountability Challenge 365

Accountability... It is something everyone needs but no one really wants. Its the voice in our heads that someone knows we said we are going to do something and can call us out if we don't. A friend of mine recently sought my advice about her business and reaching markets. She gave me the excuse of not blogging because she did not have time (the same excuse I gave myself after 1 post). I told her to dedicate 30 minutes each night before bed and she immediately said, "Great idea!" So why can I give her the advice but not do it myself?! So here it goes, my self accountability (well kind of).

I am dedicating this blog to declutter my life. It is February 27th of 2015. Im bursting out of the seams of my little Buckhead apartment. Now this is not going to be a earth shattering, discover myself type of blog. Accountability 1 - for 365 days, I am going to dedicate at minimum 30 minutes a night to blog. About the random accounts of my life and the adventures I seem to wind up in all of the time. Accountability 2 - Why I do not believe so, people tell me I have WAY TOO MANY clothes (as if that is possible). So for 365 days I am doing the trick of turning my hangers around and flipping them when I actually wear something! I think accountability 2 is going to be the hardest because at the end of the 365 I am going to donate all unflipped hangers.

Lets Start From Today, Not From the Beginning.

There is always time to go back and start from the beginning. Movies and books start us with a quick intro, fill us with a back story and then start right back at the beginning again but by this time you're in the middle of the story. So I want to start from today, as things occur, random as they might be, but only tie to the past when needed. Not be an expert at blogs, but I am sure most people start with an intro. This will not be that. I am starting with the most random post because right before I clicked "share" to Facebook, I thought to myself, "I should blog this". So I am starting right now with a post on fashion, one of my many loves, and then continuing forward.

You can never go wrong with Oscar de la Renta or Valentino, but something about Rosie Assoulin's structure and bold colors is awe inspiring. It keeps it elegance while making a statement in its unraveling structure, beaconing as a force to be recanted with.
